KCCHA has offered loans and grants through the Kitsap County Community Development Block Grant Program "CDBG" and "Washington State funded Home Repair and Rehabilitation Program" in September of 1983 and again from 1993 through today. The program is available to families that are up to 50% of Kitsap County median income as determined by HUD. This unique program allows a home owner the opportunity to repair roof leaks, wiring issues, any health and safety concerns as well as weatherization issues. We offer interest free deferred payment loans that are due upon sale or 20 years, whichever comes first. As the loans mature, the income is used to help other residences in Kitsap County with the same needs.
